The California Artisan Cheese Guild is delighted to be collaborating with the California Artisan Cheese Festival on educational programming and tours for this year’s event on March 23-25, 2018, in Santa Rosa, CA.

We’ve lined-up some great tours on Friday, March 23 to visit creameries and other craft producers in Marin, Sonoma, Mendocino, and the North Sacramento Valley. Can’t play hooky during the day? Join us for The Best Bite competition on Friday evening, brining together cheesemakers, cheesemongers, and chefs, in a friendly competition to create the tastiest bite featuring California artisan cheese. This year’s Best Bite competition is a tribute to local first responders who risked their lives battling October’s wildfires.

Saturday brings a full slate of delicious and fun seminars, featuring Debra Dickerson and Peggy Smith from Cowgirl Creamery, Juliana Uruburu from Market Hall Foods, the Cheese Twins, Janet Fletcher of Planet Cheese, just to name a few.

Awaken your sense on the final day of the Festival with the Bubbles Brunch cooked by a local guest chef. After brunch, doors open to the Festival Marketplace where you’ll be able to taste and purchase fantastic cheeses from our Guild cheesemakers. as well as local beer, wine, honey, jams, charcuteries, and more.
